Are you an Australian surface pattern designer or illustrator who would love to see your artwork become more than just fabric?
At Planet Terra, I work with Australian creatives who have finished, print-ready artwork and would love to see their designs transformed into beautiful, handsewn, ready-to-sell pieces — from coin purses and cosmetic pouches to book sleeves, bowl holders and more.
Your artwork needs to be supplied as a polished, ready-to-print file, so it can be sent directly to the fabric printer without further design or artwork preparation.
This is a small-scale, personalised collaboration, ideal for designers who want to test a product idea, create a small collection or offer something unique to their customers without committing to large manufacturing quantities.
Once your print-ready artwork is received, we’ll select a suitable fabric base and discuss which handmade products will showcase your design beautifully. I then take care of the fabric ordering and handsewing here in my Australian workspace, with the care and attention you'd expect from a small artisan business.
 
What does the price cover?
Collaboration fee
Your initial fee covers the setup and preparation of your project, including selecting the most suitable fabric base and planning your chosen products.
Finished handmade products
Each finished item is priced separately, with the cost of the printed fabric, materials and handmaking all included in the price of the finished product.
This means you can start small, test your designs and build a collection at a scale that works for you — without the commitment of a large manufacturing run. Remaining fabric can be purchased from me after completion of your projects.
